About Us

The Penn Catholic Student Association was founded in the spring of 2009 to offer students a university-sponsored forum to meet other Catholics and live their faith through service to the community. With the help of the Chaplainís Office and Fox Leadershipís Faith and Service Partnership, Maria Hutchinson (Nursing 2010) became the founding president of the organization. We have since expanded and have an array of programming for students who want to get involved in service, spiritual, and social activities. Students of all faiths are welcome to participate in all programming and activities!

Mission Statement

The Penn Catholic Student Association is a faith-based group committed to Catholic social teaching through service to Penn, the greater West Philadelphia community, and the global community. By living out our faith in works, we seek to share the love of God with each other and those around us.
